For the Star Trek fan that has almost everything and needs to complete his collection, there are now Star Trek wetsuits available. These are one piece wetsuits that have been designed to look like authentic real uniforms from the original Star Trek series. There’s even a red wetsuit and if you remember the original series, the guy in the red uniform was generally the expendable crew member that ends up dieing, so I’m not sure if that’s a color choice I’d make. Who knows, get a red wetsuit, get eaten by a shark and you may be getting the final piece of Star Trek paraphernalia, a Star Trek funeral urn or casket.
In addition to Engineering red, the 7MM wetsuits are also available in Command Yellow and Science Blue. They also come with the correct branding including the chest insignia, rank braids and shoulder logo. These are custom made wetsuits with a 6-8 week turnaround and they range in price from $435-$470.
