Space Bar may look like another approved Apple accessory to go along with their iMac series that features ultra-clean lines, but on the contrary, this device is designed for desktop and laptop users that prefer a separate physical keyboard.

The purpose of Space Bar is two fold. First is that this device comes with 6 free USB ports integrated on the front of the unit as well as one on the rear. These new ports might be a welcomed addition by those looking to connect their USB gadgets without having to hunt and find a free port on the back of their pc.

The second function of Space Bar is to act as a tray below which your keyboard slides when not in use. I suppose this would appeal to the anally retentive or those interested in a clean desktop, free of clutter.

Is Space Bar a must have piece of technology? Maybe not, but with its brushed aluminum finish and $42 price tag, it might be worth splurging.
