Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Available Through AT&T

It’s been many months during which Sony Ericsson has been teasing us with their Xperia X10 handset and finally, the wait is just about over. By August 15th, which is under a week away, the Xperia X10 will go on sale through AT&T.

The handset is an Android phone that runs on the 1.6 operating system and has a 4-inch touchscreen panel display, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8GB RAM, 2GB flash card and an 8.1-megapixel camera with LED flash and integrated GPS. Pricing for the Xperia X10 is interesting. AT&T will sell the phone for $149.99 with a 2-year service plan, but according to Sony, you can save $20 if you buy it through a Sony Style store and the cheapest price will be through Amazon who will have it for $49.99 with contract a week later. So, if you want a new gadget before anyone else on the block, you’ll pay a premium, but if you can wait a bit, there is cheaper pricing to be had.
