Over the last day, it appears that details of the Sony Ericsson Kurara became available earlier then expected due to some miscommunication. Here’s what we know about the Kurara.
First is the name. Gone is Kurara, the new name for this Symbian phone is Vivaz. The mobile phone will come with a 3.2-inch WVGA display screen and an 8.1 megapixel digital camera which includes image stabilization, autofocus, geotagging and smile detection technology. Additionally, the camera is capable of 720p HD video recording, making it only the second Symbian phone after the Omnia HD that has HD video recording.
On launch, consumers will have a choice of four colors, Cosmic Black, Venus Ruby, Galaxy Blue and Silver Moon. We do not have an official launch date yet, but it is suspected the phone will run somewhere between $670-750.
