
Sony is launching a digital photo frame with a connected printer. The device comes with a 7-inch screen, 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1 GB storage capacity (approximately 2000 photos) and 21 different templates for displaying the date and time. Some of the cards supported by this device are SD cards, SDH cards, CF cards and xD – picture cards.
The printer prints out 4 x 6 photos at 300 x 300 dpi. The printouts are fingerprint mark resistant, water resistant and discoloration resistant. Pictures can be printed from the photo frame in under a minute. The Sony DPP-F700 allows simple editing functions such as rotating, zooming and cropping photos.
This product will be available in November for about $293.
