Sonic the Hedgehog chessboard and pieces is a great way of modernizing this classic game and introducing chess to the younger crowd. The board will retail in February/March 2009 for $50. All the familiar characters will be there including the blue hedgehog as king, Amy as queen, Knuckles as bishop, Talis as knight, Chaos Emeralds as the rook and rings acting as pawns.
