Yet another gadget that uses the power of the sun to provide comfort to sun worshipers, rinsing away sunscreen, chlorine or just providing a nice cleansing shower at the end of the day.
The solar heated outdoor shower connects to an ordinary garden hose. As water collects in the base of the shower and courses it’s way through the pipe, it is heated to a soothing 86° F using nothing more then solar energy. Over a two hour period, 16 gallons of water are heated which provides enough water for 8 two minute showers. Dials on the pole allow you to regulate water temperature to your personal preference by adjusting the mix of stored hot water with cold hose water.
Being solar powered, means that you will probably save some money, but what I like about this gadget is the time it will save you. If you do spend a lot of time outdoors or have kids that like to, the solar heated outdoor shower means less cleanup since there is no longer a need for kids to run through the house tracking in dirt as they make their way to the shower.
