Back in the days of elementary school, you’d often hear kids talk about using inappropriate language at home and the repercussions that brought about. Punishments varied from groundings to no TV for a week. For some, it meant having your mouth washed out with soap.
If mom or dad ever came by with a soapsicle to wash a kids mouth out, on first glance, you’d have to wonder if any kids would think, what the heck, is this a punishment or a reward? After all, Soapsicles look a lot like Popsicles. In fact, not only do they look like Popsicles, they actually smell like them. Soapsicles come in a variety of scents including Nilla Sammi, which smells like chocolate, Rainbow – Peace, Love & Soapiness, which smells like fruit, Pink-Confetti Cupcake which smells like strawberries, and Lemonade which of course smells like lemons.
You have to know that there are going to be some kids out there that won’t be able to resist putting a Soapsicle in their mouth, just to see if it tastes as good as it smells. The good news for parents is these bars of bath soap are completely harmless if ingested.
