Everyone’s waiting for USB 3.0 to become industry standard — these days, life’s simply too short for USB 2.0. This month, Sarotech makes the wait a little tastier with Hardbox, probably one of the smartest-looking external USB drives we’ve ever seen.
The first of Hardbox’s high points is, obviously, its USB 3.0 capabilities. At 1TB to 3TB of storage space, Hardbox should make transferring PC-loads of data quick and easy. The second high point is the form factor — it’s shaped like a book, and should be a great addition to the bookshelf by the PC.
Sarotech has been in the USB hard drive game for quite a bit, so you can bet the Hardbox is going to be another big hit. The storage alone should be enough to consider getting one for yourself (if it isn’t, then sexing up your bookcase should be another reason.)
Hardbox is definitely worth looking at as is USB 3.0 technology. Anything less than that and you’d be wasting lots of time. Stay tuned — Sarotech plans to start shipping out the first Hardboxes this month.
