
Sprint Mobile has launched a new rugged clamshell in the Sanyo Taho. By Kyocera, not only is this a rugged phone that includes all the features that this trait introduces, but the phone also has some good looks added to it.

This device is water resistant and can withstand a 30 minute submersion in water to a depth of one meter. It is also resistant to blowing rain, vibration, temperature extremes and also dust, making it ideal for a number of different outdoor labor industries.
The phone includes a 2MP camera with LED flash and video support, Bluetooth, GPS, 256MB internal memory and a 1GB microSD card. The phone can accept memory cards as large as 32GB. More form factor features include a pair of screen displays with the smaller 1-inch monochrome screen located on the exterior while the internal display is a 2-inch QVGA TFT. The phone has a 6.1 hour talk time and comes with Sprint Family Locator and Sprint Navigation as part of the package.
