It’s already known that T-Mobile will be introducing a new Samsung smartphone in the Vibrant Plus to their 4G network, but when it does arrive, the handset will be capable of data transfer speeds that are up to 21+ Mbps.
The number itself is very impressive, but as we all know, these speeds will only be available in the most ideal of conditions. Regardless though, we can’t complain about this transfer speed as it is a step in the right direction. In addition to the Vibrant Plus, there are other handsets that are compatible with the T-Mobile 4G network and these include the myTouch 4G and the T-Mobile G2 but at the current time, both of these handsets are capped at a maximum speed of 14.4Mbps.
There are a few other features that the Samsung Vibrant Plus will bring to the table and these include the Google Android 2.2 operating system and a front facing camera that supports Qik video services. Altogether, this sounds like a good handset and even in areas where there is poor signal strength, mobile users should hopefully still be able to obtain transfer speeds that are not to bad.
