Samsung has a new compact camera in the PL90. Their latest camera differs from others in Samsung’s portfolio by including an integrated USB connector, the advantage of which is the ability of having a direct connection between the camera and a personal computer in order to transfer pictures. Gone is the requirement for loose cables.
In terms of features, the PL90 does sport a 12.2 MP sensor, 4x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD display screen. It also has an intelligent smart auto function that has the ability to recognize the surrounding environment and then automatically adjusting itself for better pictures. What is missing from the PL90 camera is high definition video recording, but it does come with 30 FPS 640×480 SD video recording. The camera will go on sale next month for $129.99.
