Samsung has announced the availability of a new mobile phone known as the Pixon12.
This camera phone is 12 megapixels in resolution, making it the first cell phone to offer this level of resolution.
The new phone is feature packed and includes a full touch 3.1-inch AMOLED screen, fast image saving, touch auto-focus tracking, a 28mm wide angle lens and photo management software to organize your photo collection through tags, file names, rating systems and time of picture.
Another cool feature of this new phone is instant share or Share Pix. With this feature, users can easily upload digital pictures and videos to a variety of social networking sites including Facebook, Flickr and Friendster.
It is expected that the Samsung Pixon12 phone will be available in Europe at the end of June with release to other countries anticipated to be in the August time frame.
