The Samsung N220 netbook is the latest netbook to come with the new Intel Pine Trail processor, the latest iteration of the highly popular Atom processor commonly seen in netbook designs.
Along with the new Atom N450 processor, the 10.1-inch display touting netbook also comes with 1GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, GMA 3150 graphics, a 0.3 megapixel webcam and a 6 cell battery that is capable of providing up to 11.5 hours of continuous use…nice.
In terms of network connections, the N220 includes the usual WiFi support (b/g/n) as well as Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. The Microsoft Windows 7 starter edition operating system is also preinstalled on the unit. Color selection for the N220 will include the traditional black as well as a glossy green. The Samsung netbook was spotted in Europe where it was retailing for 350 euros. Assuming it does make its way to the US, we should see it retail for about $500.
