Korean company Samsung has very recently launched the NX10 digital camera, their first offering into the mirrorless pro camera scene. Similar to Micro Four Thirds cameras, the NX10 has a DSLR-sized sensor with swappable lenses, but aren’t as bulky. It also goes up to 14.6 megapixels, minimizing noise.

Samsung also cites certain advantages that the NX10 has over others in its category, such as the 3-inch AMOLED display screen, which provides richer colors and better contrast than LCD’s and is viewable from a wider angle. Autofocus is also said to be faster than other mirrorless cameras, and focuses as fast as a DSLR with a contrast-based system’s accuracy.
The NX10’s light sensitivity ranges from ISO 100 to 3,200, and automatically restores detail in unusually dark or bright scenes with its Smart Range feature. It is also capable of HD, shooting 720p videos in H.264. Of course, it comes with an HDMI output.
There still isn’t any word on how much the NX10 will cost, but we do know it’ll come in black or silver before spring is over.
