Samsung Go Netbook

As of late, there have been a few deals inked that join mobile phone carriers with hardware vendors, the latest being made by Samsung and AT&T. The new deal goes as follows.

Samsung will provide AT&T with Go netbooks which will be subsidized and sold to the public at the discount price of $199 provided customers agree to a 2 year service contract. The new deal starts on November 22nd and in order to receive this low price you will need to send in a mail in rebate and of course wait a couple of weeks for your rebate cheque.

As expected, the Samsung Go (N310) runs on the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system (Starter Edition) and comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and a 1.3MP webcam. The Go also comes with a 10.1-inch display screen with 1024×600 screen resolution as well as an internal modem that supports 3G, HSPA 7.2/5.1 3G service and Edge. A 4 cell 4000Ah battery is also included and rated for 4 hours of battery life prior to needing a recharge.
