Samsung mobile and the high end fashion label Giorgio Armani have collaborated to develop a new slider phone known as the W820/W8500. The new Armani phone will launch soon in South Korea and includes a scratch resistant sapphire glass surrounded by gold trim, and a 3.1 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display with 800 × 480 pixel resolution.

Other features include a 5MP camera, T-DMB tuner, DivX functionality, HSDPA, Bluetooth and a front facing camera for video conferencing. Samsung has not disclosed pricing for this luxury mobile phone, but considering that it carries the Armani label, it’s not likely to be cheap.
