Earlier today, we reported on the Sony Playstation Move that will ship on September 19th and we’re now hearing that Samsung is zeroing in on a release date for the Galaxy Tab.
Although a definitive date has not been provided by Samsung, JK Shin, President of Samsung’s mobile communications division did narrow down that the Galaxy Tab will be out before the end of the third quarter which roughly translates to the Galaxy Tab being released before the end of June, the end of fiscal Q3.
The Apple iPad competitor is expected to debut with a Super AMOLED 7-inch touchscreen, 16GB built-in RAM (expandable by another 32GB via microSDHC memory cards) and an include a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 CUP. The open source Android 2.2 OS will be the operating system of choice.
