Samsung Galaxy S USB Problem Identified

The Samsung Galaxy S is a popular Android phone that has been released under a couple of brand names by a variety of different mobile carriers. It seems that just recently, a flaw has been identified in this mobile device that will cause it to perform an auto-reset under conditions.

When you connect the Samsung Galaxy S to a personal computer using the Samsung Kies software utility, the phone will crash if it contains files that have a 16 character extension. The workaround at this time is to be aware of this potential issue and to delete any files that may fit this criteria. Samsung is currently working on a bug fix as a final resolution for this problem, but there are no details as to how the investigation is progressing.
