The speculation was that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 would be officially announced at the Mobile World Congress which begins in a few days, but today, we have more proof that this is all but a certainty. It’s believed that while Samsung staff were busy setting up their stand at MWC, an anonymous tipster was able to take a picture of the promotional screen that featured this device. Today’s leak comes just a little over a week since the Valentine’s day leak where the device was also seen at a Samsung event that was taking place in South Korea.
When you look at the above picture and see how this device is resting in someone’s hand, you do get a feel for just how large it is. The device is also seen being used in portrait mode rather then in landscape mode. In terms of its features, we’ll have to wait until MWC 2013 to get the official run down, but the rumours do suggest that we can expect the Galaxy Note 8.0 to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and that it will have a 1280×800 LCD display, 2GB RAM and a 1.6GHz quad-core processor.
The question remains, what other devices will showcase at this event? We do know that the Galaxy S4 will not be announced here as a special event for its announcement has been scheduled for next month on March 14th.
