The Samsung Corby S3650 mobile phone was already a budget phone with basic features that was designed to meet the needs of those on a tight budget, but as with everything, the question becomes if there is a way to do things even cheaper (and hopefully better). With that in mind, Samsung will be releasing the Corby Pop which by all accounts will be even cheaper then the S3650.
The Corby Pop will have 22MB of internal memory, an FM radio, a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, and a 960 mAh battery rated for 8 hours of talk time. The long life battery is great, although you have to hope that those that do buy this phone are on an unlimited talk time plan if the focus is on saving money. Currently, there are no official or leaked images of the Pop, but the image above is of the Samsung Corby.
The mobile phone will be launching in India and is expected to go for around $150.
