We won’t officially know until January 25th what will be the pricing for the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus smartphones, but naturally, since their announcement at CES 2010, consumers have been inquisitive about their price.
According to an anonymous leak, it appears that the Palm Pre Plus will be available for purchase at a price of $150. This will be after a $100 mail-in rebate and after signing a service contract. The final price for the Pixi Plus will be $100 and we suspect the same will hold true with this WebOS smartphone as well and that is that a mail-in rebate will have to be sent in and you will be bound to a service contract.
It’s only about a week before Verizon does make this all official, but if these numbers are correct, they do seem in line with Sprint’s pricing, not to mention that they are faster models.
