This coming Tuesday will be a big day for Apple. Not only will they finally take the wraps off their new iPad mini, a tablet that pundits have been speculating on for months, but we are very likely to see a few other products to keep things interesting as we approach the holiday shopping season.
The first of these will be a 13-inch MacBook Retina Pro and today, we have what is being reported as a leaked image of the Apple device. Like its larger 15-inch model, what we can see from the leak is that the 13-inch model will also come standard with an HDMI data port as well as a pair of Thunderbolt ports. The flexibility of this setup allows someone so inclined to connect up to four external monitors to their device, this of course is assuming that they have a few just lying around. In any case though, at least the option is there.
Continuing with the display, the the 13-inch model will be able to support a pixel resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 with its Retina display and this is a four fold increase over the older model that does not have a Retina display. We also see from the leaked picture that there are no speakers on the keyboard’s side which means that the setup is very likely to remain the same as the non-retina 13-inch model.
