There have been lots of rumors about Apple’s upcoming new tablet, the iPad mini. The most recent news about this device was yesterday when we heard that the company was holding a special event next Tuesday, October 23rd. Although the company hasn’t come out to confirm that this will be the coming out party for the iPad mini, the teaser does seem to imply that this will be one of a few new products that will be showcased.
Today, we have a new rumor about the iOS tablet, one that comes from a UK retailer. Based upon the information that this company has provided, the iPad mini will be announced next week and then on November 2nd, it will be officially released. Now, we hear rumors on a daily basis, but this retailer does have some history behind them as they were able to successfully predict the iPhone 5 release date, so there is a chance that November 2nd will in fact be the date for the iPhone 5.
Once the tablet does launch, it will be available in two major world markets, namely the US and the UK. There is also the potential that a select few other countries will be included in the initial launch. Apple will also be taking pre-orders for the iPad mini and though the exact date is not known, it is believed that it may begin right after the announcement on October 26th.
