Facebook’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Zuckerberg has certainly had a change of heart when it comes to how the social networking site Facebook can be integrated with the Apple iPad. It was in 2008 when Facebook users got access to an iPhone app, but since then, there has not been an official iPad app, but this is about to change.
According to sources close to Facebook, it would seem that the company is at the end stages of testing which when completed will see the release of an iPad app for Facebook. Though the sources of this information remain unnamed, they do indicate that this app has been uniquely designed and optimized for the iPad display and that it will come with a “slick design”. The iPad app will also have some features that are above and beyond what users are able to perform on the site itself. Both Groups and Facebook Chat have been updated for the iPad and users will be able to snap pictures on the tablet, subsequently uploading them onto their Facebook page.
Again, when it comes to this functionality, sources say that these features are “amazing, offering full resolution and full-screen images.”
