Nokia Corporation announced their new handset called the 3270 Classic. The 3270 builds upon previous generation rugged devices and is fully encased within a strong durable material that protects the internal electronic circuits from shock damage. As such, the Nokia 3270 is shockproof, waterproof and dustproof. “Whether using it at the beach or in a dusty construction site, the Nokia 3720 classic has been specifically engineered to withstand the splashes, bumps and drops that come with the terrain,” said Markku Suomi, vice president.
The IP-54 certified Nokia cell phone is available in a variety of colors and includes an LED flashlight, 1 GB microSD memory card with Nokia Maps software installed, a 2.2-inch bright display, a 2 mega pixel digital camera and a media player.
Expect the see the Nokia handset in stores this summer with a retail price of about $175.
