Google may have started out as a simple search engine back in 1996 by two Standford students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, but the online search engine has quickly grown over the last 14 years. Today, Google Inc. plays a huge role for anyone that surfs the Internet. They have their major property, Google Search, but there are also equally important products and services that fall under the Google brand.

Tomonobu Higashikawa has represented some of Google’s properties in the form of a new Rubik’s Cube puzzle. There’s Google proper, News, Blogger, Gmail, Calender and Maps. If you enjoy puzzle solving, this cube design may just offer a new take on the Rubik’s cube to generate additional interest in the game.

Game designs such as this show what people can dream up. I’m wondering when we’re going to see a new Monopoly board designed that features Google properties and what would be the equivalent of Park Place and Boardwalk, Google Search and Google Docs?
If you like puzzles and games, be sure to check out some of the other themed Rubik’s cube puzzles such as the stained glass design and the Super Mario Brothers cube.
