Rovio’s Angry Birds franchise has broken multiple records and though there have been some concerns about oversaturation, there appears to be no signs that customer interest in this game is fading. Take for instance Angry Birds Space. This game became the fast selling mobile game in history and has now recorded more then 100 million individual downloads.
The success of this game is simply more fuel to the fire and gives Rovio another reason to come out with a new addition to this game franchise. Not to disappoint, the next installment to Angry Birds will be available in the fall and will come in the form of Angry Birds Space: Red Planet. Over the next few months, we’ll be hearing a lot more about Angry Birds Space: Red Planet when Rovio’s PR machine goes into hyperdrive. For now though, those that have not had a chance to try their current game Angry Birds Space, the game is available for just 99-cents through both the Apple App Store and the Google Pay Store.
