LG Android Eve

Rogers Mobility scored a win by being the first global phone carrier to receive the Google Android powered LG Eve (or GW620). Eve is also the first Google phone for LG and with this slider phone, an assortment of features focused on social networking services have been introduced.

The smartphone pools digital information from Twitter, Bebo and Facebook updates as well as integrates this data with the phone contact information.

The LG Eve comes with a 3-inch touchscreen display with 480×320 pixel resolution, a 5 row QWERTY keyboard, 5MP digital camera and supports Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS services. As to be expected, there are a host of Google applications such as Google Latitude, Google Search and Google Maps. Additional software applications can also be installed on the phone through the Android market.

The LG Eve will retail for $49.99 provided you sign a three year voice and data service plan.
