After much hype, Rock Band has finally arrived for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. Available for download through the app store, this popular game comes with a 20 music track selection that covers a variety of genre. Some music choices include “We Got The Beat” by the Go Go’s, “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys, and “Learn To Fly” by the Foo Fighters.
Using a Bluetooth connection, a multi-player game can be established with 3 additional mobile users. There is also a Facebook connect feature that allows you to invite your friends to the game.
Unlike the full version, the mobile Rock Band does not come or require any playing instruments. Rather it works strictly through the touchscreen of the Apple gadget itself and game players will have a choice between vocals, bass, drums and guitar.
The app will retail for $9.99.
