The Ricoh CX2 was launched some six months back and today, we hear that the Ricoh CX3 point and shoot digital camera has been released. The CX3 includes a 10MP back illuminated CMOS sensor, whereas it’s predecessors, both the CX1 and CX2 came with a 9.29 megapixel sensor.
Other features of the new Ricoh digital camera include 1280 x 720 high definition video recording, a 3-inch LCD display, a 10.7x optical zoom lens and improved noise reduction, a feature that should help with low lighting photography, something that some compact cameras do have a challenge with.
We do know that those living down under should be able to pick up the Ricoh camera later this month for about AU$499 but currently, there are no details about a US launch date.
