RED Scarlet is a high end compact professional camera developed by RED. Although the digital camera is compact and portable, it is still considered a professional camera and as such carries a hefty price tag that reflects the quality that is typically seen with these types of cameras.
The Red Scarlet comes with a fixed 8x zoom or an interchangeable mount. Although not clear by means of the technical specifications sheet for this camera, it is believed that the lens are T/2.8 or thereabouts.
In terms of pricing, the full meal deal with the lens will cost you $4750, but if you’re looking for a lower price option, then you can pick up just the body for $2750. The full kit will also include a battery, an LCD as well as a few other goodies and on the plus side, everything is compatible with Epic modules so that you can interchange them as needed.
