Fans of RC airplanes and helicopters are going to love this new add-on — the rest of us probably won’t be so thrilled. It’s the Quanum RTR Bomb System, a “bomb” add-on that fits nicely under your RC toy. With a special mechanism that lets the “bomb” split open and release its payload upon impact, it should be enough to close a few airports if enough RC enthusiasts get their hands on it.
Kidding, really, but as long as you play with this new toy alone, away from civilization and policemen, it should be pretty fun. The bomb is made of fiber-reinforced nylon, making it good for several drops. Filling it with water or powder should mimic a good explosion and make for a good practical joke on your friends — provided the bomb doesn’t drop directly on their heads, that is.
I’d advise RC enthusiasts to think twice about getting this $17 toy. There have already been forecasts of increased terrorist activity this year, and you don’t want to get arrested for owning something that looks remotely threatening.
