Q310 – Samsung’s First Laptop Available In The US

Samsung announced that it would begin selling laptops in the US. The first notebook they made available through newegg.com is the Q310. This notebook comes in two models, the Q310-34G and the Q310-34P.

Standard features on the Q310 include a 13.3 inch display with 1280×800 resolution and the “touch of color” design. Additionally, the Q310 includes the Intel’s Centrino 2 platform, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, DVD burner, Webcam, multiformat media card reader, as well as Draft N Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet.

The Q310-34G is the lower of the two models with a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 CPU and 250GB hard drive. The Q310-34P provides a bit more processing power with it’s 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU and also includes more hard drive space (320 GB).

Pricing has been set at $1,049 for the Q310-34G and $1,249 for the Q310-34P. These prices reflect the discount currently available through newegg.com.
