You often find that items that were made for or by the military, will eventually make their way into civilian use. Purosol is an example of one such item. Originally used in the two Gulf Wars by the military to keep monitors, lasers, and sights free of sand, Purosol is now available for home use.

The original formula, created by Dr. L.H. Sampson, has been modified for civilian use and can now be used on a variety of home equipment including TVs, monitors, and lenses. Purosol claims to be different from other cleaners on the market in that it contains no harsh chemicals. Rather, it’s cleaning ability is all natural and due to a mix of plant enzymes. These same enzymes are not only useful in cleaning, but can also neutralize small static charges.
