We know the iPhone 4 is available in either black or white. The black model has been available since launch, but the white iPhone has been delayed a couple of times with Apple not really providing a lot of clues as to the cause of the delays.

Originally, it was believed that the paint thickness was the source of the problem, but new rumors sketch a different picture in which the cause of the delay can be attributed to a manufacturing problem that has resulted in a shipment of “rough and bent” iPhone 4 frames. The above image does depict this problem and according to sources, it is believed that this problem has now been solved which means that production of the white Apple iPhone 4 can commence once again.

Of course, these are just rumors at this time, anyone with some good Photoshop skills could very well replicate images of any type that they wish. Until Apple officially provides an explanation for the delay, rumors will continue but for some, finally just having access to the white model will suffice.
