Bayer Diabetes Care has come out with a high tech blood glucometer that includes a USB connection. Patients will now be able to measure their blood glucose levels and upload this valuable data to a computer using the included Glucofacts DELUXE software.
The advantages of this are profound as it provides for a historical record of your blood sugar levels which in turn can only lead to better diabetes management. As this data is now in digital format, there is also the option of sharing this personal information with your personal doctor.
The Bayer Contour USB meter has a storage capacity to hold up to 2000 test results.
