Perception Digital Limited has released their combo digital pedometer called Live-Lite. This exercise device plays motivating music as it tracks the steps walked, calculates fat and calories burnt and monitors heart rate immediately before and after an exercise routine.
The fitness aid includes a 3D motion analyzer that is capable of distinguishing between running and walking and can calculate the total calories burnt. The battery-operated device easily clips onto a sleeve or can be used with either an arm or waist band. Using voice prompts, the walker is informed on the status of steps taken, calories burnt and distance travelled.
The Live-Lite includes HeartPAL, PC software that analyzes exercise data and records steps on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The software also supports Facebook integration so that you can share personal accomplishments.
