Pentax is readying their new digital camera for the European market. Called the Optio M90, the 12MP camera comes with a 5x wide angle zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD display screen, smile capture, blink detection and facial recognition.
The camera also includes a video recording feature though the quality is limited to just 640×480 resolution. Included with the compact digital camera will also be software apps that allow for image viewing, editing and filing.
The Pentax Optio M90 should be available in mid-June for roughly $180 and at the time of launch, photo enthusiasts can choose between either a burgundy or black model. No US release date has been announced thus far.
