Pegatron has a new home theater PC (HTPC) that they are showcasing. If the lure of small form factor gadgets appeals to you, then the Pegatron HTPC may be right up your alley.
The Pegatron device is backed by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset and includes a wired Ethernet jack, HDMI port and on the rear of the device are connections for a microphone and speaker.
Though Pegatron has not offered a feature list just yet on the new device, the fact that it is powered by the Tegra 2 chipset allows us to suspect that it will support 1080p HD video as well as Adobe Flash video and most likely for the operating system, we can probably expect Microsoft Windows CE or the Google Android OS. Again, no details on pricing are available but looking at similar devices on the market, it’s expected the Pegatron Tegra 2 Home Theater PC will be in the $100-$150 range.
