It was only about two years ago when I picked up my 8 megapixel Canon Pro Shot 1. What I really liked about this camera was the optical zoom. The Pro Shot 1 boasted a 7x optical zoom, which allowed you to take some nice close up shots from far distances without having to rely on the digital zoom.
Fast forward a couple years and today, Aving USA reports that Panasonic Korea is ready to launch the 10.1 megapixel resolution Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28.
The FZ28 features a 27mm wide-angle Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT which has an 18x optical zoom. No doubt, if you like to take close up pictures, you’ll have a blast with the incredible optical zoom on this camera. In addition to the zoom, the 27mm wide angle feature is perfect for both landscape and indoor shots, allowing photographers the ability to capture wider views.
Cost of the FZ28 will be between $460 US - $560.
