Panasonic GF1 Digital Cameras In New Colors

Panasonic GF1 Digital Cameras In New Colors

If you held off on buying the Panasonic GF1 pocket camera, the micro four thirds camera because the original color selection of black, red and white didn’t quite appeal to you, here’s your chance to take another look at this device. This off course is assuming that the latest two color offerings, “blade” silver and “fairy” pink appeal to you.

Other then Panasonic Japan announcing the new color choices, there hasn’t been any changes to the camera design or feature list itself. Hence, you’ll still get a Lumix snapper with a 12.1MP sensor with optical image stabilization, interchangeable lens, 720p high definition video recording and a 3-inch intelligent LCD display screen.

Panasonic has indicated that they plan to produce 5,000 of the digital cameras each month and currently there are no plans to make the new color options available outside of Japan where they will launch on March 12, 2010. However, you never know if a large online seller such as Amazon has something to say about this. It’s also expected that pricing will be in line with the current Panasonic models that are available, although this pricing does vary considerably between the retailers, in other words, it’s worth shopping around to ensure you get the lowest price.
