Following up on their earlier webOS 1.1 upgrade available over the summer, Palm has confirmed a new update, Palm webOS 1.2 is now available.
The new webOS is said to include “lots of new features and enhancements,” and upon closer inspection, the new features include an improved Palm Synergy that supports LinkedIn contact syncing. Other features include the ability to download files using a web browser as well as email filtering in personal folders by using search queries. Users will also be able to download music files through Amazon’s online MP3 Store using WiFi.
US Palm Pre users should start to see the automatic upgrade to occur over the new few days.
