Pac Man Takes To The Runway

By Mike James - posted in Clothing Gadgets

It’s been quite a week for Pac-Man, first getting his own furniture line in the form of the Pac-Man Poufman and now being featured front and center by designer Giles Deacon at a recent fashion show.

Fashion shows are always known for their beautiful models and also for their occasional bizarre outfits to try and stir emotions within the audience. Giles Deacon is one of those designers that is known in the business for his wacky outfits and he didn’t disappoint at the Spring/Summer 2009 show with his homage to Pac-Man.

In the show, models were required to wear helmets featuring the characters of Pac-Man. To take it a step further, the floor was also painted with the familiar yellow pills seen in the video game. Aside from this wackiness, Deacon’s line was accepted as featuring some beautiful designs.
