Russian designer, Stas Aki came up with a fun daily calendar that can be reused as a paper napkin.
When you think about the paper waste created from daily calendars that may be used to jot down short notes, only to find it’s way into the waste paper basket, why not make it multipurpose? Is the napkins calendar a practical gadget, probably not, but it is silly enough to generate a few good belly laughs, draws light on reusable products and would be an interesting idea for a gag gift.
Each day, you rip off the current date from the paper calendar. The date that you rip off, now becomes your dinner napkin for that day.
It’s cute and makes you conserve. You’re only allowed one napkin per day so use it wisely.
