Olympus has announced a new digital camera called the 7010 MJU. This is the latest in a string of announcements from this technology company that has recently made news with the E-P1 and the rugged Mju Tough-6010.

The Olympus 7010 is said to be “incredibly slim and stylish metal design”. Some of the camera features included in this model are a 7x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LED display that is sunlight viewable and a 12-megapixel sensor that is capable of standard poster size prints.
Available in either Starry Silver, Titanium Grey and Candy Pink, this ultra-slim model will reduce blur through dual image stabilization, supports advanced facial recognition and includes built-in magic filters for special effects such as Pop Art, Fish Eye, Pin Hole, and Sketch to liven up pictures. The compact digital camera is also compatible with xD-Picture and microSD cards.
The Olympus 7010 MJU will retail this August for $411.
