ODNA Concept Urinal

The idea of washing your hands so close to the urinal is probably enough to turn the stomach for at least a few of you, but that is the design concept brought forward by Lee Isherwood with is ODNA Concept Urinal.

The premise behind this design is water conservation through reuse of water. The lower chamber of the concept urinal is of course for the times when nature calls. Once you’ve finished your business, the upper chamber is where you wash your hands. The water that was used to wash your hands is recycled and is used to “flush” or clean the lower chamber of the urinal.

Lots of men forget or don’t bother washing their hands when leaving the bathroom, and I don’t think that this product will promote clean hygiene with it’s two bowl concept, although it does have an “anti-splashback” design for those with less-than-desirable aim. This may be a necessary feature should they ever decide to introduce Urinal Video Games into the mix.

This urinal does offer two benefits to corporations. The first is the obvious savings in cost with the reuse of water. The second is the space savings as the washing station and urinal are combined. This could be something you see in stadiums where they need to meet the needs of so many people.
