nPower PEG Personal Energy Generator

nPower PEG Personal Energy Generator

nPower has developed what they call the PEG, the word’s very first Personal Energy Generator. As the name implies, the device is capable of generating its own energy and uses kinetic energy to recharge all of your gadgets and other electronic devices.

This portable charger measures 23cm in length, which may not be as small as some solar charging options that are available, but it is small enough to slip into your pocket or briefcase. PEG is compatible with well over 3,000 different electronic devices with nPower claiming that it will work with over 90% of the devices that are commercially available.

Details are limited at this time with nPower only stating that it supports USB 2.0. What we’d like to know is just how far we have to walk/run in order to recharge a cell phone? PEG should be available next month for $149.

I like to know more about the output power of this device. Kind of looks like two shake flashlights put end to end.
