The Notion Ink Smartpad that will include such features as Nvidia Tegra and Pixel Qi has finally been given a name, Adam. It’s an interesting name choice with its biblical reference because we can’t say that this the first tablet device.
A June 2010 launch date has also been confirmed meaning we’re still 6 months away before the tablet hits the shelves. Currently, the unit is undergoing 3G testing on the AT&T network in the US as well as with Indian operators abroad. Adam has been aggressively priced at $321 US with Engadget believing this may be Crunchpad 2 just waiting to happen. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see on this.
