We know that the Nokia Lumia 900 will go on sale within the United states shortly and now we have some more details regarding this device due to a 2012 road map that highlights AT&T products.

According to the road map that the Boy Genius Report managed to secure, this device will go on sale on March 18th and it’s retail price will be $99.99. In terms of the reliability of this information, there is always the possibility that dates can be tweaked in one direction or the other slightly, but for the most part, this should be quite accurate. If you’re a bit surprised by the price tag, it’s understandable as most analysts had expected that this device would retails for at least $200 on a two year service plan. As it stands now, customers that want this specific Windows Phone handset will have to sign up with AT&T as they will be the exclusive mobile carrier for the device.

The attractive pricing that this device will feature will mean that it will allow the handset to retail at nearly half the price of the iPhone 4S which has been deemed as the major competitor for this handset. Of course, Apple has always had an established and loyal following so for Microsoft and Nokia to compete, they will have to entice customers with better pricing.
